Springhill House was a truly wonderful farmhouse restoration project for us here in Ireland. We worked really closely with our clients to design a home that kept its original heritage and classic style, but was properly updated for modern family life. The main goal was to create lots of functional spaces where the family could spend time together, plus distinct rooms for individual use – a key part of our luxury country home design.
A big standout feature in the open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area turned out to be those gorgeous classic French doors. We chose them instead of the modern sliders that were originally planned, because they just fit the home's historic exterior so much better. Throughout this beautiful Irish farmhouse interior, all the room designs are classic and elegant. We used custom upholstery and lovely textiles to make it feel super warm and comfortable, truly easy and enjoyable to live in.
This project really shows our skill in creating bespoke interior solutions for heritage properties across Ireland. We made sure that even with all the modern comforts, the true soul of this classic Irish farmhouse stayed right there, beautifully intact. It’s a great example of how we can blend tradition with modern living.
